Outreach

We had an incredible time July 31 with our BBQ outreach.

This is A Suicide Alibi.  They are a great group of guys who have a heart to reach their generation with hope.  Their music isn't exactly in my zone but its starting to grow on me.  I appreciate their passion.

I don't know how many kids showed up for this outreach but it was more than 50.  And we had a wide range of adults who also came.  The folks running the grill were making hamburgers for people on the other side of the fence.  Those people were from the hotel behind the church.  They had heard the music and came to see what was going on.

back of the stage.

This all may look overwhelming but its all part of reaching our community and the youth of our city with the message of hope and love.  I believe outreaches like this are a way God had given for us to reach these precious folks.

We are called to go into our world and make disciples.  This is part of that process.

In His Grip
